Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Head of Wialon at Gurtam — one of the world's largest platforms for GPS tracking and IoT. He joined in 2009 as CMO and went on to build and run the entire Wialon division: product, commercial strategy, and a global team. Over his years there, Wialon grew into a platform that connects over 4 million vehicles and assets across 160+ countries, delivered through a network of 2,700 partner companies who run their own businesses on top of it. It started in Minsk, is now headquartered in Vilnius, and in 2025 ABI Research ranked it among the top 10 telematics platforms in the world.
Why it matters
Every conference has an AI talk now. Most are predictions from people building something new. This one is the opposite: the view from inside a business that already runs at global scale, about what putting AI to work actually changed, and what it didn't.
Two years ago, having AI in your product was a differentiator. Now everyone has it. The same models are one API call away for you and every competitor you've got. And there's a loud argument that this is especially bad news for product companies. Microsoft's Satya Nadella says traditional SaaS will collapse in the agent era. Earlier this year the market took that seriously enough to wipe hundreds of billions off software stocks in days. When everyone can build software cheaply on the same AI, the software itself stops being the moat.
Aliaksandr runs a company sitting right in the middle of that question. Wialon tracks over 4 million vehicles in 160+ countries through 2,700 partners. A real, scaled SaaS business, not a thought experiment. And he's not waiting to see how the debate ends. He's been putting AI to work across the business: the internal processes and the external ones, the product and the partner network. This is a chance to hear what that actually looks like, where it pays off, where it's theater, and what still protects a software company when the technology is available to everyone.
In this #6 DZ CLUB event, Aliaksandr Kuushynau will share his perspective on:
→ AI into the guts of a global business
What it took to put AI into Wialon's internal processes and its external ones — product, operations, and a 2,700-partner network. Where it paid off, where it was theater.
→ "SaaS is dead" — real or a headline?
The case that agents and cheap software gut product companies, tested against a platform that's actually scaling.
→AI is now table stakes
When every competitor runs on the same models, what's actually left as an advantage?
→ The team and the craft
What AI changes about how software gets built — speed, juniors, which skills still hold value.
→ What still works as a moat
Does 20 years of real-world data and a global partner network matter more in the AI era, or less?
→ Building global from the region now
Easier with these tools in everyone's hands, or a higher bar because everyone else has them too?
This event is ideal for
This event is for founders, engineers, and operators who've sat through enough "AI will change everything" keynotes and want to hear what it actually changed inside a real global business.
As always, there's a Q&A — bring your questions and put them to Aliaksandr directly.
